Peanut Butter, Banana & Cocoa Smoothie

This smoothie is packed full of nutrients and mixes the classic flavor combinations of PB & Chocolate and Chocolate & Banana into one delicious and good-for-you drink. It’s no wonder it’s one of our favorite smoothie recipes.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium overripe bananas, peeled and frozen
  • 1/2 medium ripe avocado
  • 4 heaping tablespoons Great Lakes Collagen Peptides (or about 1/3 cup)
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoons honey (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond, coconut, or hemp milk 
  • Chopped dark chocolate, for topping
  • Unsweetened shredded coconut, for topping

Directions

  • In a blender combine the bananas, avocado, collagen peptides, peanut butter, honey (if using), cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and milk.
  • Blend on high until creamy and smooth.
  • Pour into glasses.
  • Top with chocolate and coconut and serve.
