Ingredients
- 2 scoops Great Lakes Collagen Endurance Plus
- 1 1/2 cup chickpeas (soaked overnight) OR 1 can of chickpeas, drained and well rinsed
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or agave syrup, to taste
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder (I used Dark Chocolate powder)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
Directions
- Drain chickpeas into a measuring cup, set aside the liquid.
- In a food processor, add the collagen endurance plus, chickpeas, maple or agave syrup, cocoa powder, vanilla, salt, and 2 tablespoons water from the chickpeas.
- Puree for 30 seconds, then scrape down the bowl. If necessary, add a bit more syrup to taste.
- Add additional 1 to 2 tablespoons water and puree again. It will have a creamy consistency.
- Store in the refrigerator for 7 to 10 days.
- Serve with graham crackers, apple slices, grapes, bananas and strawberries.
