Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cold or room temperature water
- 3 tablespoons Great Lakes Culinary Gelatin
- 1 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1 cup good quality unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1-1/4 cups simmering water
Directions
- Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Place the 1/2 cup cold or room temperature water in a bowl and sprinkle with the gelatin. Set aside for 5-10 minutes.
- Transfer the gelatin to a blender. Add the coconut oil, cocoa powder, honey, and vanilla.
- Pour in the simmering water and blend on high for 25-30 seconds until completely smooth. (Use caution when pureeing hot liquids.)
- Pour into the parchment-lined pan. Carefully transfer to the refrigerator.
- Chill for 2-4 hours until set. Cut into squares.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer.
