Chocolate Chip Collagen Bars

These gluten-free, dairy-free, nutritious and delicious bars made with collagen and chocolate chips can be pre-made for a healthy on-the-go snack you won’t regret, packed with just the right amount of sweetness, you may never buy a dry store-made granola bar again! Recipe by @emmaabrahamson

  1. Serves:9
  2. Time: 15 min. prep, 30 min. chill

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats⁠
  • 1 scoop protein powder⁠
  • 1 packet Great Lakes Unflavored Collagen Peptides
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds⁠
  • 3 tbsp hemp hearts⁠
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup⁠
  • 1/3 cup drippy almond butter⁠
  • 1/4 melted coconut oil⁠
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla⁠
  • Pinch of salt⁠
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips⁠

Directions

  • Combine all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. 
  • Once thoroughly combined, stir in wet ingredients and mix. 
  • Put the batter in an 8x8 pan and place in the freezer for at least 30 minutes to chill. 
  • Cut into 9 bars and enjoy! 
  • Store in freezer.
